New 12' Sportpal canoe rocks

Yesterday, a friend and I went to test out my "new" sportspal 12' canoe, that weighs all of 38lbs. It's should weigh 34lbs but the previous owner put gizmos for oars on it, adding 4 more pounds. I could see how using it as a row boat when alone could have some advantages.

We took the canoe to Le parc de la riviere des Milles iles, which is just a 30 minute ride from Montreal.  We were able to test out the canoe and take some great wildlife pictures. I think the best ones are of the Great blue heron.
