Several articles say that Canada has closed it's embassy in Syria. I thought this might cause problems for the Lebanese as in the past, as when hubby came to Canada he needed to pick up his VISA from Damascus, but it seems that there is now an Embassy in Beirut - which will handle what was being handled in Syria.
